Diagnosis of Sarcoidosis in a Patient With Acute-Onset Low Back Pain and Osseous Lesions on Magnetic Resonance Imaging in the Setting of Suspected Malignancy.

The article presents a case study of a 67-year-old woman with right posterior hip, buttock, and low back pain. Topics include initial working diagnosis having lumbar spondylosis with possible involvement of the right sacroiliac joint and/or hip joint; and metastatic disease, disseminated infection, malignant hemopathy, and vertebral sarcoidosis.
