Abstract
- We present an introduction to the Japanese pencil puzzle Nurikabe and to its basic solution strategies. Further, we establish formulas for the minimum and maximum number of islands in a Nurikabe puzzle made up of one-tile islands. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
