Abstract
- In the article, the author discusses the prospect of solar farms in the town of Beatty in Nye County, Nevada. Also cited are the town's gold mining history, the proposed construction of solar farms in 20 thousand acres of public land around the town, the proposed development of other renewable energy sources like geothermal plants, transmission lines, and lithium mines, and the move by U.S. President Joe Biden to make renewables as a key component of his decarbonization strategy.
