Abstract
- The paper conducts a cross-analysis of the data collected in the Paderborn and Osnabrück projects and comments on the problems of Interreligious Learning. The instructors' statements are examined hermeneutically with regard to their objectives. On the one hand, this reveals internal difficulties of the goals, such as the imparting of basic knowledge or existential confrontation; on the other hand, the goals often are shaped exclusively by Christian theorists and have not yet been sufficiently counter-read by their partners. It is evident that in interreligious dialogue not only the formulation of goals for interreligious learning must be agreed upon, but also that their interpretation and questions of procedure have to be negotiated at eye level.
