NFT (NON-FUNGIBLE TOKEN) VE UYGULAMA ALANLARI.

This study explores the concept of NFT (Non-Fungible Token), the technology on which it is based, and its usage areas. In this research, firstly, the blockchain technology on which NFT is based is examined and the way it works is explained. Then, the features of this technology and its usage areas other than popular cryptocurrencies are examined. Then, the Ethereum platform, which defines NFT as a standard, was researched and the smart contracts defined on this platform were explained. Furthermore, NFT categories are investigated, and a literature review was conducted for the applications proposed in the field of digital art and other categories. In addition, with the help of the dictionary created, suggestions were made about the Turkish translations of the concepts used in this field. There are NFT applications in many fields, especially in the art, collection and game categories. It is predicted that NFTs will find widespread use especially in supply chains and internet of things.
