Abstract

The article argues that chatbots as entertaining but untrustworthy and not always factual because they learn their skills from data posted on the Internet by real people. Topics discussed are tendency of chatbots to generate untruths, hate speech and biased language and to run a kind of misinformation campaign, the training of chatbot on the art of conversation using Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) neural network, and the open-ended conversation exchange design of the ChatGPT system from OpenAI.
