PREDOMÍNIO CONSERVADOR, IMPRENSA LIBERAL E PRESENÇA FAMILIAR NA ADMINISTRAÇÃO PÚBLICA: AS CRÍTICAS VEICULADAS NO JORNAL A REFORMA SOBRE A ATUAÇÃO POLÍTICA DE DUAS PARENTELAS DA PROVÍNCIA DO PARANÁ (1869-1878)

This article analyzes the criticisms published in the Rio de Janeiro newspaper A Reforma, which was linked to the Liberal Party, about the political action of the Correia and Guimarães between 1869-1878. In this context, it is argued that the Correia and Guimarães were seen by liberals as families whose power resided in controlling the filling of public positions and in the ability to benefit economically from the conclusion of contracts with the Imperial Government and the Government of Paraná.
