Changes in choroidal thickness in healthy participants after induction of sympathetic hyperactivity using the cold pressor test.

We measured the intraocular pressure (IOP), blood pressure (BP), heart rate (HR), and SFCT of the left eye of 54 healthy volunteers (22 men and 32 women; mean age, 21.4 ± 3.7 years) with a best-corrected visual acuity >= 20/20, mean body mass index (BMI) of 20.8 ± 2.4 kg/m SP 2 sp (range, 15.4-29.8 kg/m SP 2 sp ), and no ophthalmic, cardiovascular, or systemic disease.
