Abstract: The article describes the case of a 35-year-old man with excessive weight loss, diffuse left abdominal pain, and anorexia. Topics discussed include finding on abdominal computed tomography (CT) scan, results of the histopathology report, and reason that hepatoid differentiation was hard to recognize by pathologists in the case. A discussion on hepatoid carcinoma is also offered.
