Biopolitica e trasformazioni sociali nella storia italiana di inizio Novecento. Spunti didattici per una riflessione sulla condizione della donna.

In this paper my reflections concern the historical recostruction effected by Alberto Mario Banti in relation to the biopolitical dynamics in the Risorgimento until the first world war, in the field of the relationship between men and women. Furtherly I consider the duel's meaning in the same historical period. Comparing these two issues with the theoretical framework delineated by Norbert Elias, I will try to offer some didactical and pedagogical suggestions that could be useful to emprove a bigger awareness of the necessity of granting full justice in the relation between genders. An effective didactic strategy can convince young men to pay attention to women's rights also by reflecting on the implications for the males' lifes due to the fact that in the past models of society for example men were forced to immense sacrifices in warfare.
