Abstract

The article reports that Alcohol use during pregnancy is a major preventable cause of adverse alcohol-relatedoutcomes, including birth defects and developmental disabilities. Topics include alcoholic beverage in the past were advised by a health care provider to quit drinking or reduce their alcohol use; and Alcohol use among pregnant persons remains a public health concern for intervention or behavioral counseling in a primary care.
