Abstract
- The article presents the discussion on academic family medicine faces an impending leadership crisis. Topics include allopathic departments of family medicine in the US, and a number of osteopathic departments, large academic medical center departments; and prompting the ADFM's Leadership Development Committee to study and addressing the leadership vacuum in family medicine.
