Abstract

The article discusses a research study to demonstrate that differential absorption and eigenvalue repulsion can create some scattering singularities with much lower damping rates than the mean to allow reflectionless excitation in combination with a desired routing functionality. It is evident that reflectionless excitation of scattering systems is a fundamental wave scattering problem across all areas of wave engineering.
