Abstract

Long-term chimney/snorkel endovascular aortic aneurysm repair experience for complex abdominal aortic pathologies within the PERICLES registry. We read with great interest the work by Zlatanovic et al. "Chimney vs. fenestrated endovascular vs. open repair for juxta/pararenal abdominal aortic aneurysms: systematic review and network meta-analysis of the short-term results" [[1]]. In the PERICLEs registry [[5]], patients with >= 30 months of follow-up experienced chimney graft occlusion in approximatively 10% of cases, with a 33% of branch vessel-associated reintervention and blood flow restoration.
