Observatorio de la Profesión de FESABID y su papel en la defensa de la profesión.

This paper reviews the configuration of FESABID's Observatory for the Defense of the Profession as well as the challenges faced by the profession that need to be tackled by professional entities. This paper examines the legal state of the professions of our sector and the situation regarding the access to the profession in the public sector. The access is done via a public examination and work contracts for the groups that require a university degree and also for inferior categories that do not require a specific qualification but have the possibility to establish a professional certification. In the private sector, a distinction is made between enterprises specific to the sector, and those of a general nature, and it is recommended to demand to the administration a socially responsible public recruitment. The paper reports on the state of the sectorial agreement recently approved in Gipuzkoa as well as on the situation of the education, the new professional roles and the public examination. Finally, a series of urgent demands are made to the administration and enterprises. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
