This contribution starts from the very close link between the Easter proclamation and women: their encounter with Jesus, after the painful experience of the cross, highlights the relational dimension of the resurrection and initiates the proclamation of the mystery that life is stronger than death. Even a synodal Church is called to be a relational Church, a Church of listening, ready to embark on a long – and no longer post-ponable – path of change of mentality that leads to the abandonment of forms of dominance, competition, power and to the assumption of a lifestyle and mission made up of cooperation and reciprocity. Developing an anthropological and theological reflection on reciprocity between men and women and, on a practical level, a synodal pastoral, implies walking with women on an Easter itinerary and allows us to be a more incarnate Church, closer to people and less abstract.
