Abstract
- This article examines a corpus of children's books that provide an overview of the Louvre's art collections. Published over the last three decades, these books were selected based on their ability to portray an adapted vision of the museum's collections to young readers. Apart from their diverse editorial features, they share compositional standards based on the link between image and text which varies slightly from book to book, depending on the rooted point of enunciation--that of the child. Through a careful examination of the books in this corpus, this article will reveal how editorial features reconfigure normative frameworks applied to art history knowledge. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
