Lethal Force In Peru Protests.

The article reports on the excessive force, including firing shotguns at civilians with lethal ammunition, shooting assault rifles at fleeing protesters and killing unarmed people, by security forces in Peru in response to antigovernment protests, based on results of investigation and analysis of videos and images, autopsy and ballistics reports. It presents incidents of protesters shot with assault weapons in Ayacucho and police shooting and killing of civilians during clashes in Juliaca.
