Abstract
- The article takes a look at moral questions about the female characters in the opera "Don Giovanni." It refers to misogyny and sexual violence as the themes of the opera. It discusses the characterization of Donna Anna, including her emotionalism that resulted from Don Giovanni's assault of her, as well as the innocence and happy-go-lucky nature of Zerlina, the wacky personality, anger and distress demonstrated by Donna Elvira.
