Abstract

The hourly PRx was used to examine the amount of time each patient spent above specific PRx thresholds, again using PRx values above 0 to indicate altered cerebral autoregulation. PRx is currently not used clinically in most PICUs, but as further technological development and implementation of real-time analysis of continuous physiologic data progresses, PRx has the potential to provide timely bedside assessments of patient-specific, optimal CPP.
