Abstract

The article focuses on the genetically engineered Neo P1 pothos houseplant unveiled by French biotechnology startup Neoplants to remediate indoor air pollution. Topics include a description of the pothos known as the Devil's Ivy, its capability to metabolize indoor air pollutants missed by traditional air purifiers, the two-pronged approach used in the plant according to Neoplants co-founder Patrick Thorbey, and the percentage of Neo P1's air-cleaning capacity in which pothos is responsible.
