掩蔽性Chirp-听性脑干反应在听力障碍婴幼儿听阈评 估中的应用研究.

Objective To evaluate the value of masked Chirp auditory brainstem response (masked Chirp-ABR) as objective threshold estimations in young children with hearing loss. Methods Thirty-one young children (52 ears) aged from 0.5 to 4.5 years (median age of 1.8 years) with mild to severe hearing loss were enrolled. In all cases, thresholds were estimated using masked Chirp-ABR and behavior audiometry at four frequencies (0.5, 1, 2, 4 kHz), and the results of auditory thresholds were analyzed. Results The threshold differences and r values obtained from masked Chirp-ABR/behavior audiometry were 3.2-5.5 dB and 0.93-0.84, respectively. Moreover, the difference value between masked Chirp-ABR and behavior audiometry had high percentage of cases below 10 dB at four frequencies, especially at low-middle frequencies. Conclusions The use of masked Chirp-ABR ensures high accuracy for estimating thresholds in young children, especially at lowmiddle frequencies. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
