Transformation and practice of core literacy – An example of a multiple elective curriculum in a high school.

Abstract
- In this paper, we use the example of a school that develops a literacy-oriented curriculum and assessment principles based on the fulfillment of each child's spirit, the development of school vision, the importance of students' learning needs, and the implementation of multi-dimensional and cross-disciplinary integration. The teacher's role is then changed from a traditional knowledge transferer to a problem-solver and knowledge enabler. In the case of the reading criticism and thinking elective problem-based pedagogy, self-directed learning theory, scaffolding theory, curriculum practices, student reflective learning, and experiential feedback are the applied strategies. Finally, we have proposed a multi-elective reading-critical and reflective curriculum for the case schools. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
