While the share of people using the Internet is increasing in Austria, inequalities in access to digital devices are still evident. The article reviews the current state of knowledge on digital inequality in old age in Austria. The article outlines some questions of digital inequality research in old age as a research program for the future that goes beyond addressing the digital divide through the internet-use and non-use binary.
