"Sem Migué" nas eleições: uma proposta de factchecking colaborativo em São Luís - MA.

The present paper brings the preliminary results of an experiment carried out during the 2020 local elections in São Luís/MA. The aim was to investigate whether and how a collaborative and decentralized fact-checking model affects the way participants perceive disinformation. For this, a fact-checking platform called "Sem Migué" was developed as a minimum viable product, which was tested with the participation of 24 volunteers, including non-journalists. The data analyzed was collected from the website's metrics, questionnaires answered by the volunteers, a focus group and participant observation. The results will guide the development of a new version of the model, which might be tested in new applications of the project. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
