Violências de gênero em relações íntimas de afeto: considerações sobre efeitos psicossociais entre universitárias.

The aim of the study is to understand the psychosocial effects of gender violence in the context of intímate relationships of affection, experienced by university women. The participants were two university women and, as a research technique, it was used the semi-structured interview. The information was analyzed from the content analysis and the process led to the construction of three categories: the participants and the contexts of gender violence experienced - revisiting invisibilities and gender norms; psychosocial effects of gender violence during the intímate relationship of affection; psychosocial effects of gender violence after the end of the intímate relationship of affection. As main analytical considerations, we highlight situations of psychological, sexual, moral, and property violence, experienced during the courtship, social isolation, illness, emotional dependence on the boyfriend, and the trauma of experiencing situations of violence again.
