Abstract
- Spin pumping is a phenomenon that occurs in a magnetic interface. The interfacial generation of spin current arises from the dynamic magnetization of a ferromagnetic layer. It can be understood as a linear response of the conduction electrons to a dynamic magnetization via exchange interaction. While spin pumping experiments have used the heavy metal such as Pt, the study of the influence of Stoner enhancement of heavy metal on spin pumping are still few. Recent experiment shows that the spin pumping into metal that has larger stoner enhancement of than Pt generates smaller spin current. We model spin pumping in the nearly - magnetic metal by including electron-electron interaction. We study how the electron-electron interaction affects the exchange interaction at the magnetic interface and how it reduces the spin current generation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
