Abstract

The automatic cab signaling system exercises a significant impact on train safety by transmitting signals from the leading "ground traffic light" to the driver's cab. It allows the driver to move with confidence at the set speed. System now operates under difficult climatic and electromagnetic conditions, which affects the system performance. Since the development of the automatic cab signaling system, the electromagnetic environment on the railroad has become much more complex. As a result of the long-term use of this system, a number of drawbacks and functional limitations have been revealed. In order to examine the expandability of the functional features of the automatic cab signaling — a simulation model of continuous automatic cab signaling with orthogonal frequency-code generator of code signals, using Matlab Simulink software environment. As a result the signal data with orthogonal frequency-code modulation has been obtained, when the model with the new generator is failure-tolerant, without changing the receiving part.
