O crescimento do turismo entre brasil e argentina no período de crise econômica 2008-2018.

This paper aimed to understand which variables ensured the growth of tourism between Brazil and Argentina in the period from 2008 to 2018 despite the economic crisis. Therefore, economic variables that directly impact the service sector and especially tourism were analyzed. Thus, economic variables of the analyzed years were correlated, such as: exchange rate, unemployment and GDP - with the tourism numbers of the relationship between the two countries. The analysis also found that, in recent years, both have had an interest in advancing beyond bilateral tourism, there have been joint actions for the international promotion of their destinations, for that, they have been presenting attractions together and complementary, because in the face of their cultures with distinct peculiarities, joint actions can enhance the interest of international tourists. It is concluded that, despite the crisis, the impacts of tourism between the two countries were not very relevant, so that the activity remained continuous and growing, which shows that the presence of a well-established border tourism can lessen impacts in some sectors, such as tourist services, generating and maintaining jobs, and creating investment opportunities in these countries.
