Abstract
- The article reports on the move by U.S. states to adopt competency-based education policies in their jurisdiction to replace time-based grades and course credits. The aim is to assess students based on their mastery of a subject. Also cited are the decision of Wyoming to pilot a competency-based learning program, and the alleged benefits of said program like more personalized learning.
