Abstract

The article focuses on the advancements in the analysis of archaeological glass using laser ablation inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS). Topics include the use of chemical analysis to determine the origin and technology of glass, the investigation of bead trade through chemistry, and the potential and limitations of analyzing glass beads.
