Hyperammonaemic encephalopathy: a remarkably rare complication after bariatric surgery.

Hyperammonaemia is a metabolic disorder with elevated blood ammonia levels. Here we describe a case of hyperammonaemia associated encephalopathy as an incredibly rare, potentially fatal and treatable complication associated with bariatric surgery.
