Abstract
- The aim of the research was to study the features of the effect of biological preparations on the microbiological activity of soddy-podzolic soil and the yield of spring barley. The research was carried out as part of a vegetation experiment. Soil samples were taken in three terms, which corresponded to the phases: tillering, budding and heading. Such physiological groups of microorganisms as oligonitrophils, ammonifiers, nitrifiers, actinomycetes and cellulose decomposers were considered. The microbiological activity of the soddy-podzolic soil was also studied against the background of the application of mineral fertilizers in combination with and without biological preparations. During the experiment, it was noted that the number of studied physiological groups of microorganisms depended on the phase of plant development and the type of microbiological preparation. The most significant yield increases were noted with the combined use of mineral fertilizers and microbiological preparations. It should also be noted that even without a mineral background, inoculation with microbiological preparations gives a significant increase compared to the control variant. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
