The aim of this contribution is to accomplish an initial approach to climate demands associated with human rights violations, sticking to the analysis of the main obstacles that arise from the perspective of admissibility requirements. Among other issues, we will examine the competence ratione personae and ratione loci, in particular, the exhaustion of domestic remedies, causality, collective actions and jurisdictional scope based on complaints filed to date in regional (European and Inter-American) and universal systems.
