Abstract

The concept of resilience, established in the literature and in psycho-therapeutic interventions as well as in sustainable development models such as that of the PNRR, is making its appearance in the educational field, in special contexts related to post-traumatic situations and as a generalist intervention aimed at mitigating the effects of the complex society founded on crisis and uncertainty, as an approach aimed at prevention and the promotion of attitudes and skills to cope with the unexpected and overcome adversity. The resilience construct constitutes a paradigmatic dimension as an organizer of meaning epistemologically grounded in the assumptions of complexity theory, such as, for example, the questioning of the linear causality nexus that produces a vicious predictive effect toward states of vulnerability. It implies a different representation of vulnerability producing the dual effect of: transforming adversity and suffering into resources and opportunities for learning and training; and regenerating the community dimension and social and collective empowerment. This paper will present the main aims of the lines of action of the international project RESUPERES Resilience in Higher Education or University Context: overcoming adversity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
