Analysis of construction of key details of men's clothes in automated design systems.

The article provides information on the methodology of clothing design of the Central Sewing Research Laboratory of Russia and the "M.Müller & Sohn" method of Germany, their application in the light industry, their differences and advantages. In order to check the suitability of clothing design methodologies to automated design systems, they were analyzed by constructing the construction of the main details of men's clothing in the Pattern Editor module of the Gemini Cad Systems.
