Abstract

The Neutrosophic Fuzzy Sets(NFS) have an enhanced capability in depicting and dealing with uncertainty. The application of Neutrosophic Fuzzy Sets to medical diagnosis is an attempt made here. We discover the patients' main symptoms using Normalized Hausdorff minimum distance method. We can deduce the type of ailment afflicting the patient by looking at the minimal distance or the core symptoms. In this paper, we apply minimal distance method to NFS data to determine the normalized Hausdorff minimum distance. The minimum distance is nothing more than narrowing down the medical data provided to the desired outcome. The use of Neutrosophic fuzzy sets rather than fuzzy sets introduces another level of freedom into such a set description. In this paper, we examined the definitions of NFS, Hausdorff distance between NFS and proposed their use in medical diagnosis, including the diagnosis of Covid-19. The suggested approach can be used for a variety of similar real-life cases. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
