MACROECONOMIC FACTORS OF IPO IPLEMENTATION IN THE CEE REGION.

This paper aims to identify macroeconomic factors that influence IPO implementation in selected Central and Eastern European capital markets. Survey based research has been conducted within a sample of non-financial companies operating in the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, and Romania. The results suggest that favorable macroeconomic conditions such as GDP growth, low interest rates or positive development of local capital markets promote companies´ interest in IPO implementation.
