Case 21-2023: A 61-Year-Old Man with Eyelid Swelling.

The article presents a case study of a 61-year-old man with eyelid swelling and puffiness that interfered with his ability to read and drive. Examinations showed a chronic orbital inflammatory process linked to thyroid eye disease, evidence of plasma-cell neoplasm with and increased number of mature plasma cells, and the final diagnosis of systemic immunoglobulin light-chain (AL) amyloidosis. The patient underwent induction chemotherapy and is receiving daratumumab maintenance therapy.
