Abstract

Dilute Russell's viper venom time (DRVVT) and Staclot-LA demonstrated that LA was positive. Dear Editor, Acquired factor V inhibitor (AFVI) with lupus anticoagulant (LA) characteristics is an extremely rare coagulopathy disease [[1]]. Moreover, as critical patients can be often complicated with coagulation dysfunction, AFVI should be considered when patients have prolonged PT and APTT that cannot be explained as normal by TT.
