ACASO E RUPTURA NA PANDEMIA DA COVID-19.

This paper aimed to analyze trauma during the pandemic through the concepts of discourse and fantasy by using the bibliographic research method. First, it discusses the widening of the generalized transference regarding the medical discourse during the pandemic. Second, it examines the role of fantasy in shaping the catastrophic event of the Covid-19 pandemic as a psychic trauma. Third, it analyzes the characteristics of the Covid-19 pandemic favorable to the emergence of trauma. It finally points out the presence of generalized abandonment in the pandemic, a context favorable to the eruption of trauma, which will only be triggered if the pandemic catastrophe conflicts with the meanings of the subject's fantasy.
