Focuses on the use falcons, or other birds of prey, to control the presence of birds flying over airplane runways at McGuire Air Force Base in Wrightstown, N.J. When the base began using a peregrine falcon to scare away starlings; Number of reported collisions between birds and aircraft at the base in the last 20 years, noting the deaths and monetary damage resulting from the accidents; Comments from Stuart Rossell of Falcon Environmental Services, the company that runs the base's wildlife management program, regarding the targets of the falcons.
