Examines the ethnonational identity, security and implosion of Yugoslavia focusing on the relationship between Montenegro and Serbia. Perception of a power vacuum throughout the former communist bloc after the collapse of communism; Failure of the discipline of international relations in dealing with the outbreak of ethnic conflicts throughout the contemporary world stage; Normative and policy questions raised by the proliferation of post-Cold-War ethnic for the international community.
