Abstract
- This article focuses on the information related to various universities. W.B. Cole, Associate Professor of Accounting, attended the annual C.P.A. convention at Little Rock, October 28. D.Y. Thomas, head of the History Department, gave a paper on "Liberal Arts Education in the South" on November 10, 1938 before a regional meeting of the Association of Americal Colleges at Hendrix College, Conway, Arkansas. The Hill Memorial Library of the Louisiana State University has recently obtained the entire private library of Professor Richard T. Ely, president of the Institute of Economic Research and retired professor of economics of the University of Wisconsin. Lynden Mannen, of the Department of Government, is on leave of absence for this year, while studying toward his Doctor's degree at George Washington University, Washington, D.C. Thomas C. Donnelly, Professor of Government, travelled through ten European countries during the summer, studying international affairs.
