Abstract

Major gain for the hoverfly species in the Hainberg: In the course of new surveys, 32 additional hoverfly species could be detected for the Hainberg. This was possible through a combination of conventional (yellow bowl, Malaise trap, landing net) and modern (metabarcoding) methods. Among the eight differently endangered species, there is also Myolepta dubia, which was presumed extinct in Bavaria since the last century. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
