Abstract
- The article focuses on a survey that was conducted to find out the leading technology trends in libraries. Texas Library Association's Automation and Technology Round Table (ATRT) decided to survey the leading technology trends in libraries. The traditional acquisitions functions of some integrated library systems (ILS) may not be up to the task of handling diverse electronic resources. Electronic resource management (ERM) products help to control subscription and licensing information for resources such as electronic journals and full-text databases. Google search engine has become the bane of many librarians and library school professors. Yet, the public-- and even many librarians - love Google, and Google continues to grow like gangbusters.
