Abstract
- In this paper, analytical formulations are deduced to determine reflection points on cylinders and cones, and even cylinder-cone systems. With these analytical formulations, a parallel UTD code is developed based on MPI using domain decomposition method. Since no data exchanging is needed during the calculation, the parallel code has a relatively ideal speedup. Numerical results show the efficiency of analytical ray-tracing techniques and the parallel code. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
