Abstract
- The article presents information on the eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL). XBRL covers the overall business reporting processes including the ledger, trial balance, and reporting concepts. XBRL is designed for a reporting process regardless of the nature of the content. Analysts say XBRL can be broadened beyond business and financial reporting toward data processing and manipulation.
