Variant renal artery anatomy in first degree relatives on MDCT angiography.

Dear Editor, Since the widespread adoption of multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) angiography for pre-operative assessment of living kidney donors, significant variability in renal vascular anatomy has been identified. Given the frequency of living kidney donation at the Irish National Kidney Transplant Service, we recognized an opportunity to assess the incidence of variant renal anatomy in first degree relatives undergoing potential living donor workup.
