EFETIVIDADE DOS EVENTOS DE INOVAÇÃO E EMPREENDEDORISMO.

The study aims to analyze the effectiveness of innovation events promoted in the western region of Santa Catarina. Data collection was based on semi-structured interviews and questionnaires, with a sample of 140 respondents. The results indicate the lack of engagement among the actors of the observed innovation ecosystem, many idealized startups cannot be made viable due to lack of structure, investments and even partner engagement. In general, the events promote mobilization for the local entrepreneurial culture, however, the ecosystem lacks maturity to increase the effectiveness of startups idealized in innovation events.
